Coriander leaves benefits | Coriander leaves tambuli | Leaves of coriander | Flavored curd
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 2 to 4 black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter milk or curd
- 1/2 tsp salt
For tempering:
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp hing or asafoetida
- 2 to 4 curry leaves
Instructions
Method:
- Add chopped coriander leaves to a blender
- Now add grated coconut
- Add cumin
- Add black pepper
- Add little water and blend it to a fine paste and transfer this paste to a bowl
- Now add butter milk or curd and salt
- mix well, keep it aside and prepare tempering
Method for tempering:
- Add coconut oil to a tempering pan and heat for 2 mins
- Now add mustard, cumin, hing and curry leaves
- saute well until it splutters
- Add this tempering to prepared coriander tambuli
- mix well and eat with hot rice
