Is it possible to make Paneer Sweet recipes? Here is a simple Paneer Kheer. Paneer ki kheer is a super delicious and rich sweet recipe made with paneer.

It is a wholesome kheer recipe elegantly laced with the sweet flavour of cardamom powder and topped with dry fruits.

Further, paneer kheer is quick and easy cottage cheese kheer for the festive seasons. More over it’s an instant sweet dessert with paneer that can be made in 15 mins. Easy to make and rich in taste.

Most importantly, paneer payasam or paneer kheer is a bengali sweet dish or pudding. It can be served hot, warm or chilled. But we prefer the kheer to be chilled. Chilled kheer is more tastier than hot one.

However, this paneer kheer tastes some what like rasmalai with soft crumbled paneer in flavored and sweetened milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup grated paneer(Indian cottage cheese)
  • 4 to5 cashews cut into small pieces
  • 5 pistachios cut in to pieces
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

Preparation:

  • Firstly, grate paneer and keep it aside.
  • cut cashews and pistachios into small pieces.

Method:

  • In a heavy bottom pan add milk and bring to a boil. 
  • Stir occasionally until it reduces a little and becomes slightly thick
  • Now add condensed milk and mix well, boil for another 2 mins.
  • Also add chopped cashews, mix well
  • Add grated paneer so that the paneer blend with milk properly. cook for 2 to 3 mins.
  • Now add cardamom powder and mix well. turn off the flame
  • Transfer the delicious paneer kheer to a bowl and garnish with pistachios
  • serve the kheer hot, warm or to be chilled.
