- 1 cup water
- 2 ashwattha leaves/Bodhi tree leaves cut in to pieces
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 to 2 tbsp organic honey
Firstly, heat a saucepan on moderate flame and add 1 cup of water. Wash the leaf with water.
Next cut the tip of the ashwattha leaf using a scissor and cut the leaf into pieces. Add this to boiling water.
Bring this mixture to a boil for 10 to 15 mins until the water reduces to half and slightly change in color of the water.
Now turn off the heat and strain this Bodhi leaves concoction.
Also add lemon juice, cardamom powder and organic honey.
Transfer this prepared tea to a glass jar.
Now the healing medicine Ashwattha leaf tea especially for heart blockage is ready to drink.
