Ingredients

coriander leaves
chopped
1/2
cup
grated coconut
1/2
tsp
cumin
2 to 4
black pepper
1/4
cup
water
1/2
cup
butter milk or curd
1/2
tsp
salt
For tempering:
1
tsp
coconut oil
1/2
tsp
mustard
1/2
tsp
cumin
1/2
tsp
hing or asafoetida
2 to 4
curry leaves
Instructions
Method:
Add chopped coriander leaves to a blender
Now add grated coconut
Add cumin
Add black pepper
Add little water and blend it to a fine paste and transfer this paste to a bowl
Now add butter milk or curd and salt
mix well, keep it aside and prepare tempering
Method for tempering:
Add coconut oil to a tempering pan and heat for 2 mins
Now add mustard, cumin, hing and curry leaves
saute well until it splutters
Add this tempering to prepared coriander tambuli
mix well and eat with hot rice
