Basically this instant dosa is made from jowar flour, rice flour, jowar rava, finely chopped onion, coriander & curry leaves, ajwain and salt. Jowar dosa | Jowar atta dosa | Is jowar good for weight loss | Benefits of jowar flour
Ingredients
- 1 cup jowar flour
- ½ cup rice flour
- ¼ cup jowar rava
- ½ cup onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 tsp curry leaves finely chopped
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Firstly, take a wide large bowl and add jowar flour, rice flour and jowar rava
- Next add finely chopped onion, coriander leaves and curry leaves
- Further add ajwain and salt
- Crumble the mixture and then add water
- Whisk well so that there should not be lumps
- Again add water as needed to adjust the consistency of the batter
- The batter should not be too thin nor too thick. It is like a neer dosa batter consistency
- Meanwhile heat a dosa tawa on moderate flame
- Once the tawa gets heated up, pour a ladle full of dosa batter over the hot tawa
- Sprinkle little oil over dosa and cover the lid
- Cook this for 2 mins and carefully open the lid
- Take out to a plate and again do the same procedure for remaining dosa batter
- Now the tasty and healthy Jowar Dosa is ready to serve!
