Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled Chickpea
- 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup tomatoes finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cucumber finely chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots finely chopped
- 2 tbsp grated coconut
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp black salt
- 1 tsp chat masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Preparation for making chickpea salad:
- Soak the chickpea in hot water for 3 to 4 hrs. Pressure cook this chickpea for 4 to 5 whistles. Allow to cool this boiled chickpea.
- Meanwhile finely chop the raw vegetables and keep it aside.
Method for making chickpea salad:
- In a large bowl, add boiled chickpea, finely chopped onion, tomatoes, cucumber and carrots.
- Similarly add grated coconut, chopped coriander leaves and chopped ginger.
- Also add black salt and chat masala.
- Finally squeeze lemon juice.
- Give it a good mix.
- Now the healthy, filling chickpea salad is ready to serve!
