Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated paneer low fat
  • ½ cup crushed oats
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 1 boiled potato mashed
  • ½ cup carrot grated
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garam masala homemade
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder homemade
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp amchoor powder
  • ¼ cup oil for frying
  • ½ cup corn flour slurry
  • ½ cup crushed oats

Instructions

  • Firstly, take a wide bowl and add grated paneer, crushed oats, finely chopped onion and mashed potato.
  • Next add grated carrot and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Further add corn flour, rice flour and salt.
  • Similarly add spices like garam masala, cumin powder, red chilli powder and amchoor powder.
  • Mix all the ingredients well to form a smooth dough type mixture. Add little water if needed while mixing.
  • Take small amount of prepared mixture and make a small ball.
  • Now press it slightly by your palm and give a perfect round cutlet shape. Make sure it won't break.
  • Then dip it in a corn flour slurry and roll it with crushed oats.
  • Meanwhile heat a pan on moderate flame and add oil.
  • When the oil is hot enough, place the prepared cutlets.
  • Shallow fry these cutlets both sides until they turns to golden brown.
  • Turn off the heat and take out the shallow fried paneer cutlets to a plate.
  • Remove the excess oil using a kitchen towel.
  • Now the tasty paneer cutlet is ready to serve!
